Many estates and borghi in the Tuscan hills are reached down a strada bianca, one of the white gravel roads that wind between the vineyards. They are part of the charm, but they are slow, dusty and sometimes steep, so we check the last stretch with your venue: how far a vehicle can safely go, where it should stop and how far the equipment travels from there.

Outdoor dinners are the heart of a summer wedding here, and the booth can join them under the trees or along a terrace. Outside it needs shade by day, a level patch of ground roughly 2.5 metres square and power close at hand, which on a large estate is worth confirming early.

July and August days are hot, and evenings in the hills often bring a breeze once the sun goes down. We pick a sheltered position and agree an indoor alternative with you in advance, such as a barn, a limonaia or a cellar room, so a change of plan on the night is simple.

We arrive around an hour before the agreed start and set up in 20 to 30 minutes, fitting it around the ceremony and the aperitivo, out of your guests’ way.
